Well, the end of our week was pretty rainy and gray. Friday we were supposed to play outside, but it was chilly and yucky out so that didn't work. Saturday morning David had his weekly soccer game and he scored a goal! His team won 6 to 4. After soccer we drove to a recycling event at the city center and dropped off our giant old computer. It wouldn't even open up to Windows anymore, but maybe someone can salvage it or use it for parts. We do have a lot more space in our living room now!!
After soccer we were supposed to have a play date at the park, but the weather caused us to postpone until Monday when it is supposed to be mostly sunny and nice. Since we couldn't play at the park, we went to the adoption fair at Petsmart and played with dogs :oD Lauren wanted to let all the big dogs out of their pens, and was determined to figure out how to open the latches, so I had to keep a really close eye on her! David found a small, young beagle mix that he fell in love with. He says that's the kind of dog he wants when we get a house, daddy wants a big dog, we'll have to wait to see who wins.
Today is sunny but cool outside. We've got a few errands to run, I've got to bake a red-velvet cake to take to a friend's tomorrow and then we're going to try to go to the park and let the kids get some energy out! Tomorrow should be fun, I'm taking the cake to my friend Stephanie's house and we're going to eat Red Velvet cake and bake Shoefly Pies. I've never had Shoefly Pie before, but Steph says they're really good. I think I'll be going to the gym tomorrow after all the eating, and baking, and eating!!
I hope everyone has a great rest of their weekend, we'll talk to you soon!
